Unfortunately, that's the best pic I could find online.

Or this (but I'm sure this one's been done before):

I think a Jag XK "dressed up" to look older would fit just fine. Make some adaptors for up draft SUs....

+1 but I bet there are a few old Rolls or Daimler engines out there too.

American LaFrance built speedsters way back when in addition to fire trucks. This may be the remains of one.

Here's a video of one of these:

And then, according to the story, when that crashed in a race, it was rebuilt into THIS! :

One thing great, or not so great, about the American La France is it gets 2 gallons to the mile, or pretty close. We had one in the fire company more than a few years back when I was a kid and every time they had to run it out of town to the country they almost ran out of gas before they got it back! The exhaust was so loud, it would almost break your ear drums while taking off from the fire house. :jester: PJ

What grand ol' lumps tho!

And th' sweep on that "spare" piston/rod is positively frightening considering the metallurgy of th' time.

Peter,
Looks like you are searching for a 20/25 or Ghost chassis to build a "special?"

Do you have one that needs a home??!!

Gotta be like drivin' a one ton truck chassis. Guys, I'm out on this one unless'un there's an Allison V12 in the picture.
