Well, if you remember my post a few weeks back about the bad day I had when I found the wishbone mount on my car was broken, things have progressed great since then.
I was able to buy the part from VicBrit. Hired a professional welder (the guy did welding and fab work for GM for 30 years) to cut the broken part out and weld in the new one. He did a great job. $180 bucks well spent for 4 hours work.
So, with the front suspension finally completely rebuilt, tomorrow IN GOES THE ENGINE AND TRANS!!!!!!
After that, just a little wiring, put in the dashboard, install the interior and I may actually have my little midget on the road.
Been a long wait, 1 year at this point, but maybe in 4 - 6 weeks, we'll be on the road again!
