Identify this steering wheel?

Dale, as long as you have a socket -- 1 and 1/16" as I recall -- for the nut to hold the wheel, it's really NOT a difficult fix, and it's definitely worth doing. Call me traditional, but I rather like the horn button to be where it's "supposed to be"! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Hey Dale,

Andy is correct about it not being that big of a deal to pull the steering wheel off and put the pieces in. However, if you do go with a new switch on the dash why not make it a momentary push button instead of a rocker? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

You may not need to remove the wheel if the slip ring (plastic disc with the flat brass ring) is still behind the steering wheel (like in DNK's photo). Stick a voltmeter lead all the way into the hole in the hub until it contacts the flat brass ring. Touch the other lead to metal somewhere as a ground. If you get 12 volts, you probably don't have to remove the steering wheel.
