Sorry, last post didn't have a picture (too many MB)
Looks like a radiator support but isn't. Some kind of brace.

Rad support has a threaded end, hood prop rod has a 90 deg bend where it hooks into bracket (#23) and is longer. This one has a flat ends. The mystery continues.
 
That's it. Valance panel stay rod . Don't know if left or right.
Probably the other one is still on the car. Great Pumpkin comes through again
