ID this car...

Here's the link... The car that's stumping me is on the far left (hiding just behind the tree), it has an unusual front end that I can't quite figure out, also too it looks like a 4-door sedan model.

Oh yes... Picture was taken in Germany, probably mid-to-late 1960's...

I'm probably way off base here, but the headlights seem Citron-like.

My first thought is that it is a German Ford....a Taunus. Now that I have read the entire post about the scene being in Germany I am sure of it.

I can see where Basil is coming from, the headlights are very Citroen Ami-like.

I found this picture of a '62 Taunus... it looks like a good match, down to the side windows & hubcaps, plus the hard-to-miss headlights

Yeah... Never thought of the Ford Taunus... Looks about right, don't why that never occured to me...

The book I looked through didn't give a view of the front end of the Taunus, just a side view and back view.

Yep, sure looks like a Taunus alright. Never heard of it by the way!

It was the German version of the Cortina.

It IS a Taunus - I believe a 12M.

Its kina weird looking. Like a morphed 62 T-Bird front end on an old Jag saloon body.

The nose is similar to the Consul Capri, about
'63 or so, it probably is a Taunus...
