ID this car at the All British show

My father took this pic (see attached) and asked me to ID the car. (He already forgot what it was.) I took one look and said "Fiberfab," but I think it's a different kit car.

Does anyone know for sure?

I think one of these was on eBay awhile back. Can't remember the name at the moment. Might have been named after the person who built them?

I am 99.9% sure it is not a Fiberfab product.

Yes, my father has confirmed that it's a Piper
 
One of the editors at Classic and Sports Car is running a Piper. He apparently sold a nice Elise to buy it. Also has an Elan and a mean looking Triumph 2500 sedan.

I wouldn't be surprised... Piper's are very rare as I understand (and always were when new).

That is probably the only Piper in North America, or certainly one of very few over here.
