Me too! Very sad how millions of people think they can desecrate just about anything they want to.

Also really angry about desecrating our flag - by carrying it flat, sewing it on underwear, changing its colors, and turning it into other pieces of clothing. Man what childishness - anything to get attention, sad to say.

I have, on more than one occasion, stopped into a business to ask them to change three flag flying in front of their business. So many times I see businesses with a flag out front that is tattered and dirty. You can take used flags to most VFWs for proper disposal.
 
PS: The graffiti in Albuquerque is off the charts - every blank piece of concrete in town it seems is covered with the stuff.
 
It happens everywhere I'm afraid. Really hurts when we see it close to home, and/or in places we respect.
 
That's really maddening,as is the Joshua trees that were cut down
in the National Park in California.
That's what happens when you have human waste visiting these areas.
 
When my son and I drove to Oklahoma, one of the places we visited on the way was Sand Island in Utah. The Park Service had to put chain link fences in front of the petroglyph panel to stop the graffiti.

We also walked the Buckskin Gulch slot canyon. Because it's hard to get to, the petroglyphs there weren't vandalized.
 
My wife was a teacher and sponsor of the elementary hiking club. The adults in the club always made sure the camp site was clean when we left. "Pack it in, pack it out." In fact we tried to leave the various sites in better shape - sometimes the kids complained but over all they cooperated and admitted that was a better way.
