Usher did a remake of it as well which is good. I read once that Astaire didn't like dancing with Kelly their preparation styles were different enough it really bothered him. Astaire would spend hours rehearsing to know every step start to finish and film it exactly as rehearsed while Kelly would have the general pattern and moves but not be exactly the same from take to take.
