I have sold the MG!

Going to a good home, and a friend of my family, who has a 74 1/2 already. I am going to try to recruit him as a member of the frum.

What is to replace it I do not yet know. It could be something a little more exotic and/or quirky, or it could be, don't tell Janel, a 'Rumph!!!

**SHOCK!** ***HORROR!!!***

Hate you sold it, Steve...but at least you're staying in the LBC fold.....have you noticed how many folks buy an LBC & dive right in to a full-up restoration, hit the show circuit, post on the BBS's, join clubs, etc. only to drift away into oblivion after a few months or years?....sorta like in Mickey's line of work: lots of folks join the church & are totally involved for a short time but drift away to old habits.

Congrats Steve.
Hopefully you'll find something fun to replace it with...

I see you and Catherine in this, Steve! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Lotus Elan?!? they're 'quirky'. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Jag has the engine just thrown in there. Wouldn't touch that without several bushel-baskets FULL of neatly stacked hundred-dollar bills. AFTER the initial outlay.
It looks like a "Time 'n Materials" retirement plan for some lucky shop, tho. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

I suppose it's good for a change of scenery sometimes... And now you can afford that British saloon car you've always wanted... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Jag's neat & a good project but will cost a tod on $$$'s to finish properly....what about a nice Series I XJ6?

That sad little Austin Princess almost looks like an MG Farina Magnette!

There's no bids on that Mayflower?!?!?!?!?!?
That thing's cool! and it's as weird as me!
I'd love to pick that up for under 2K.
