T-Series I was offered a BGT - whatcha all think?

Yep, probably to some guy like me who comes along with cash & knows a deal when he sees it - & doesn't need to think about it! One thing Jerri never gets upset with is me bringing another MG home. All she asks is, "What're you gonna do with it?"

Two imortant things I learned from the BCF was to carry cash & a camera.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif 3rd thing: make a quick decision & be ready with a trailer if necessary!

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif We have missed one or two great deals on Craig's list because we hesitated. I am finding that in the LBC market..he who hesitates...misses the good cars.

Now's the time to always have about $500 cash in your pocket because you never know what you'll run into. I just bumped into an '80's Nissan Z-Car...body & interior are perfect...ooks like the transmission has leaked all its fluid & the engine might need some work....$1000...& my buddy with the salvage yard has a good engie he'll sell to me for $300!

Carry cash!!

Oooh...Z cars finance our LBC habit...we just turned over an '80ZX this summer. They have a loyal following and people will pay really good money for a running and good looking 280ZX. The leftover parts also go for good $$ on e-bay.

Come get it - I'll smooth the way with my friend & you can deal directly with him...oh, did I say "good, clear title"?

I drove a 280zx back when they were new.
I looked all over the car for the Cadillac badge,
but couldn't find it.
Reminded me more of my Dad's '64 Coupe de Ville
than the early Z's I drove.
