I seem to recall this being a FL car and recently for sale in the $14k range. There was much talk about the rims on another forum. If I remember correctly.

The lack of wipers would drive me crazy. I lived in Florida 20 years ago, and I seem to remember that it rained there from time to time.... Also, the seller seems to be a little conflicted about whether it is a "complete restore" or a "resto mod."

71tr, your memory is working very well on both counts.

Where is the top? What happened to the center instrument support? Lot's of cowl shake without that in place.

Not be to be nit picky, but with all of that beautiful paint and body work, why not detail the engine compartment in the same manner?

Anyone want to give me 20K to buy a dream!
Beautiful TR on E-bay!

You should snap that up ASAP. It's listed as a great investment.

Brian says he spent @$20k to buy it and Resto-Mod it. I think he took $12K for it, You can buy it now for $20K and who knows how it will turn out for you.

It was an original "MINT" condition low mileage example before it became a cool "Resto-Mod" (not even street legal in many states)

Save your money. Dreams often fall short. I will not go any further, but save your money.

Nice looking car!

No doubt that SOMEONE with deep-enuf-pockets will buy it...

"Cheers!"

Cute, but wouldn't pass state inspection, even in Louisiana.

Nor in PA. Rattle can overspray on the underside/exhaust always makes me suspicious.

No inspection in WA.
Mark go for it.
I'm sure that it rains in WA, though!

the seller has also, apparently, cropped out the area of the passenger side engine compartment that has that round A/C part (approximately 10" item) I forget what it's called but mine has it...he has the A/C parts, just not on the car. No big deal really except I think it's a little deceptive to not show the big, strange hole that must be there. Ofcourse he may have covered it with something but should still show it as it will come as a surprise to the unwitting winner.

It's on there but the engine bay is painted black so it blends into the picture. You can see the edge of it in one of the pictures.

Previous owner, Brian Craig, had this car blogged at www.triumphowners.com/1025. Eye catching mods he undertook. Did not have the door windows installed - you won't find any window cranks on the pics of the doors. Only about 2.5" ground clearance under the front anti-sway bar. No internal engine work done, just exterior add-ons.
