I think I'll part out my steet car

His "wife says it has to go"?!? :nonod: Poor henpecked fella...it's not like a fender takes up any room or anything.

One heck of an excuse.

Good garage art if nothing else.

considering the high price and poor fit of replacements available from moss and others, it is not surprising

I like the fact the fenders are from an early car (higher indicator position) rather than the later year model he had…Do you think he noticed that?
“dug”

It didnt even make reserve.

Ive heard my wife yell to get rid of the car, but man.. She never comes in the gargae and says "You see this thing-a-ma-jig right here... this red rusty thing-a-ma-jig.... this just gotta go." Wow. Tough break. Maybe he should keep them fenders out of the living room closet.

I have noted that large peices of "stuff" that are rusty or dirty can be wraped in freezer wrap to protect and keep.

I agree with her. Why keep worthless things around?

I had a wife like this. After a couple years of this, I decided to put her up on the auction block. In this case it was much better to get a new improved version than keeping the old useless one around.
