I think I just scored a free Bugeye!

Sorry for the confusion......the Sprite was offered up by a friend on a Fiero forum and he posted pics to that forum. When I tried to cut & paste them to this forum we got that "error" message. The pics themselves show a gen. 1 Camaro (looks like a '69 to me), which has nothing to do with Fieros. I then posted a pic of my old convertible Fiero, which probably didn't help matters any.

Long story short, I am getting a free '66 Sprite, I no longer own the Fiero and that Camaro is no longer around either. Oh yeah....I just drove my Bugeye for the first time since January......I finally got the Frontline front suspension kit installed and just need an alignment and the new tires installed to start driving it again.

I can't wait to get the new Srite home.

My fathers family also lost 'all' in the restaurant business in the distant past. They used to quote an expression: "How do you make a small fortune in the restaurant business? Start out with a large fortune!".
My uncle was a high level exec in the 70's and 80's, I remember him telling me how proud GM was of the Fiero. They put a lot of resources and engineering brain power in that project. The discussions always included contrasts and comparisons with MG and Triumph. I'm sure he was disgusted with the Castrol 20-50 oil spot in my driveway!

Exactly  ..I was starting to wonder if there was a picture I was missing...I kept thinking..I see a Camaro, an airplane... where the heck is the Fiero?

I did not see a Fiero either. My first guess was a Camero.

My 65 was free and after 2 1/2 years I have nothing to regret, please see my recent post "another 65 on the road"

My '68 was free and about $3500-$4000 later I should have something that can be driven. Still a long ways to go! No regrets though!
