Gentlemen:

I hope all is well with everyone. Before I say much, I just want to express my thanks to everyone on this forum who helped me out over the years. Your input was very helpful in getting me "on the road."

I just returned to the USA from Nassau, the Bahamas. In November I'm heading out to my next assignment in Mexico where, unbelieveably, the Mexican government does not permit the importation of cars greater than 5 years old. Due to shipping and storage regulations from the State Department, I decided to sell my BE Sprite in Nassau. It killed me to do so as the car gave me excellent service over the last 5+ years - from racing in the Bahamas Speed Week to making a recent appearance on House Hunters International - but it landed in the hands of a great local collector and real "car guy." I'm sorry to be going, but, maybe, someday in the future I'll be back in the Spridget family.

Thanks again to everyone and good luck.

Be careful south of the border, Mike.

Hmmm. There is a young guy who lives in Mexico who posts on the MG Experience from time to time who imported his Midget from the U.S. maybe a year ago? Maybe he did it through the "gray market." :nonono:
