I can't wait for a post that I want to reply to to pop up which would be my 1000th post on this forum. So I'll make it by posting a hats off to the many forum members, moderator(s) who have helped me over the years and to Basil who makes it all work. It has also been just a month past 20 years since I joined in. The latter is harder for me to grasp than the number of times I've responded, or initiated a topic.

Posting on the net can be a mixed bag. I've embarassed myself by posting what I thought was correct information only to be gently corrected by others. I'm probably guilty of bragging a little, although I try to disguise that flaw, only to have others say "nice job" or " well done". My point is, I have always over all that time, looked forward to seeing what others are doing, and yes, how they are doing in some cases and helping someone else if possible by opening this forum at some point each day. It seems to be a place where no matter what aspect of these vehicles you are into or level of perfection you care for, you can correspond with someone who has been there and done that and maybe if you're lucky has a funny anecdote about it.

Often as I'm typing away my wife will ask what I'm doing and more often than not the answer is posting on the BCF. So thank you to everyone and be well. I look forward to post number 2000 although I know there are many who have already blown by that number.
