Actually what I need is the chrome channels that hold the belt wiskers on the door.. for my Elan..

Anybody have any?

Belt whiskers? I haven't heard them called that.
Are you refering to the channels that the side windows slide in, or the fuzzy lining inside. If I remember, yours is one with the push up windows.
While the frames etc. were Lotus, a lot of the components were standard Triumph herald bits.
Here's another site that might have some links you might use. https://www.motorbase.com
Looks like you'r back from the land of make believe.
Good luck, Dave T

Thanks Dave.. I'll check that site out. The chrome I need runs along the top of the door edge between the door and the glass. There is a felt channel that I am calling cat wiskers attached to this chrome channel. I need the channel ( both doors..)

Thanks..I'll give him a try.He was unable to supply the window channels, but I didn't ask him about the belt moulding..

Type R,

How was your California trip?

The trip was everything it could have been and wetter. I have never seen California so green before, and it rained almost every day, except the three we spend at Disneyland. The ride in the van was boring but comfortable.. It's a great cross country bus for 8 people.

I stopped at Dave Beans to pick up some parts and return some parts. As it was I could only return parts, cause they told me that despite my dire need, and my order from a couple of months ago, the parts they were going to get for me haven't been made in years.( a phone call would have been nice )

Still it was kind of clensing to roam around their warehouse. A lot of the parts they had, I had too.. But I was pretty upset when I left because of the wasted trip, and wasn't very good company for my fellow travellers for a couple of hours after that.

I met a very nice fellow from San Fransisco and delivered my hard top to him. We met at our hotel in Sacremento, and he got there about 10 minits before me..( Lotus people have great timing..)

The people who we visited in Madera have a neighbor with a lemon tree or two.. We squeezed a two liter bottle worth and brought the stuff home. What a differance real lemon juice makes.. You guy's are so lucky to have trees like that..

All in all a great trip, but now I need a vacation from my vacation..Ha ha..
