Those suckers are EVERYWHERE! Can't seem to kill them.
I think that they're related to cockroaches.
 
Get a box of those "Terro" liquid ant baits from Home Depot/Lowes and follow the instructions.
The ants will swarm the traps, take the poison back to the nest and kill the entire nest. I have never used an ant poison that works so well.

I use the syringes, that have a sugar base. Inject it into the ground anywhere around the entry point or next. They will find it. Last time I used it , it must have killed the nest, as I have not seen ants for over a year.
 
what will you do with the uncles?

Seriously say something not too long ago that talked about fire ants - apparently they are not evenly spread out over the invasive landscape but are pretty much only found where people are found.
