This is at the same place as the Cortinas.1980 Ford Fiesta that was set
up as a road racing car.Looks to be straight & rust free.I'm tempted,but will
probably pass on it.
If there enough good parts to put it together, take a chance. All of us need an extra project or two. Pretty interesting car even in stock configuration.
We have one of those! It is a project with a hotrod Kent 1600 engine and Ford Motorsport suspension. Those English Ford engines are the same as used in Formula Ford race cars for decades, are strong and dependable and are well supported in the aftermarket. The Fiesta in this country suffered from the smog equipment issues of most cars of that period, and had marginal tiny brakes and really needed an overdrive, but were still a blast to drive. We put over 250k on one BC (before children) then had to move to something more practical as the kids legs outgrew the back seat… Great memories!
