I need some help.

Actually, by a "name" search on the PPG site, I came up with ARGGR12 as the PPG number... Description "grampian grey austin rover group 1959 - 1969"
https://www.ppgcarpaint.com/paints-bycolor.php?PNId=19698&Color=grampian%20grey
no color chip though.

*edit*
That paint code has no paint system available /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
And apparently there's a crossreference search available too... I put in both of the Dupont codes you gave, and nothing came up /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif again.

Sorry... I put in more time on this than I would picking paint for my own cars... Hope whatever you come up with works out. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

ARGGR12 must stand for "aggrivated 12 times"

PPG = Pittsburg Paint & Glass

Tony, did you steal another one of my posts?

No, its still here & people are still offering suggestions - I'm just trying to figre out why picking a car color is so hard?

Is that a problem? I'm sorry if you're losing sleep at night because of it.

It's hard (and I've said this before) because it's costing me a LOT of money for the body work and paint. Because the paint is going to be on the car for 10 or 15 years. It's not something I can return or change if I hate it, like a $20 pair of shoes. it's the most expensive and most visible part of a car.

But you know that.

No, not a problem...just interesting...never seen this before.....hehehehehe

Yea well get used to it. This car isn't near finished yet. Might need to post a disclaimer to put *jaybird* on ignore until further notice.

Heheh, not only that but good fun.
