I'm Looking for car shows/museums/interesting-car-factories
to visit in the U.S.A from the end of November to the middle of December. (Preferably in California or near by).

thanking you in advance.

Re: I need information about car shows in the U.S.

Where in California? It's a pretty big state. You might try the local clubs around where you're going to be. Probably a couple of the California members will be able to help you out then.

Re: I need information about car shows in the U.S.

so can someone give me some cars' forums that are mostly dedicated for the Los Angesles/California area?

... and thank you

Re: I need information about car shows in the U.S.

I'm in the Los Angeles area. There are a few museums around but not many "events" in the winter. What area to you plan to stay in? There may be local car club events going on.

I saw your post...

I live In Israel but I might go visit my aunt. She live's in
Granada hills (The Valley).

I'll tell her get a copy of that "Miss Information's Automobile Calendar of Events"

Thank you very much and if you have any more information
that you can share, please do.

Re: I saw your post...

You're welcome.

You're in luck, the Valley is probably the best place on the planet to find car shows, cruise nights and such. (for American iron at least.) The crowds won't be as big in the winter but hey, it's California. There's always sunshine and cool cars here.

Granada Hills is very close to Sylmar (<10km) so it will be easy to get to the Nethercutt Museum.

Here's a link to the Los Angeles Times automotive calendar. (they actually just "borrow" small excerpts from Miss Information.)

PC.

Another question.

First of all, where can i find a L.A. forum?
secondlly, how do I know where and when those "car shows, cruise nights and such" ?

Re: Another question.

I was just going to mention the Nethercutt Museum. I haven't been yet but I hear it's amazing for a private collection.

There are many unorganized car gatherings as well, such as the one in Toluca Lake (about 15 miles from Granada Hills) at Bob's Big Boy restaurant. They have an old-fashioned "Car Hop" and every Friday night many hot rods and old American classics gather there. Bob Hope Park near NBC Studios in Burbank (near the other gathering) has regular classic car shows on Saturdays. In Pomona, about 45 minutes east there is a monthly swap meet where you can find just about anything for any type of classic car, especially really old models. It's an enormous swap meet and many classics are parked in the lots surrounding it.
