Sure don't sound like things could get much worst.

Just do like I do in dire situations like these - & watch the news for about 15-30mins at night.

As bad as things've ever gotten for me - I almost always find other folks with far worst problems.

Try to prioritize & focus on one item at a time.

Hey Doug-

It could be worse you know.

All those bad things plus a very long list of
additional bad could occur in a single car.

Been there, still making repairs.

Good luck and chin up.

I've sometimes found that things are never so bad they can't be made worse... sometimes in the process of fixing them, as often as not even when using so-called "professionals".

Well, you haven't mentioned fire yet.....

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/angel.gif Okay guys, at my age I'm just thankful that I can tackle some obstacles. The alternative to no problems is... Well I guess age puts a different perspective on the trials and tribulations of this thing we call life.

So, just breathe and take one step at a time.

You've taken the first step and that is venting. Venting is good for the soul.

Hey Tony!!!

I'm an outside the box designer by trade and
don't particularly follow any trends or trendy
designs. 90ish or whathaveyou. Although I do
admire FLW stained glass pieces.

I enjoy watching your yin/yang spin from back to front
and to me that particular gif puts the concept of Y/Y
in visual perspective.

As this gif leaves no doubt as to my whereabouts this
Saturday morning at 5:00 AM .

Hey Doug!!

Cheer up man, positive things can occur.

I am about to attempt to start the Crypt Car
and hopefully make it one exit on the expressway
and return home without a breakdown.

And as of a this morning, if I get Crypty to start, I will
be driving with street legal, functional turn signals for
the first time since my wife bought the car 19 months ago.

poco a poco things get accomplished.

Instead of arm pointing at stop lights, I will be
hearing the sound of doink, doink, doink!!
It might be Amos' first works.

yahooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doug,
One of my favorite characters from literature was Scarlett O'Hara. When things get tough, the world seems to be collapsing, just don't think about it today....think about that tomorrow. It works for me. I have adopted the philosphy that I will only think about and deal with the things I have to deal with today and everything else can wait until tomorrow.....

Ok Doug,

Almost an all time endurance record for the
Crypt Car today.

24 miles driven without breaking down. The turn
signals doink doinked perfectly.

A small thing sure. But that's it is with these cars.
poco a poco.

Don't give up.

Hang in there, Doug. I'd like to say it really isn't that bad, but it sure seems like it really is that bad! And this from someone who has spent much $ over the last 2 years, and still really doesn't have a LBC to drive... You'll make it out.

Remember, this is supposed to be fun, right? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif
