Just installed this heater control valve that is specific to AC models and it leaks. I repaired the back side where there was a hole but it leaks around the seals too and with no pressure. I see that no one carries this part. There is a thermocouple that attaches to it so I'm sure it has something to do with the AC system. This is the best pic I have of it because it is now installed. It is mounted to the left side of the heater box

Hoping someone can help with a spare or a after market fix.

How is the valve operated?

With Stag AC, the heater valve is vacuum operated. I managed to find a somewhat similar valve from an American car (Buick I think, forgot the exact application offhand) and adapt it to the Stag hoses. Doesn't look original, but works.
 
Lever through a linkage. Found a after market replace part but no thermocouple. again not sure what it does but some day I would like to get the AC working and don't know how critical that part is.
 
I believe that coil is a temperature sensor to modulate the valve and regulate air temperature, the "capillary tube" mentioned in the attached paragraph from the manual. If the movement still works, it might be possible to marry it to your new valve. But I think the AC will basically work without it, just not hold temperature quite as well as it did originally. According to the book, there is another similar sensor that turns the compressor on and off from sensing the cold air temperature.
