I've said it befor and I'll say it again, this place rocks. No matter what your problem or question, there's always friendly knowledgeble folks more than willing to help you out and maybe even throw in a bit of humor. This is one of the best forums I've found on the net. Thanks guys( and gals)!

This is quite a few steps above some of the muscle and rice rocket forums where the object of the day is to see how quickly one can embarrass a newbie or out-flame the guy who out-flamed you yesterday.

mehheh.

No flame war could break out here. It has "stuff". :smirk:

besides the prospect of flaming dims when faced with the true Prince of Darkness and real flames.

Oh, and, I love it too. I'm on a couple microcar groups and it ain't just muscle cars - too many p*ssing contests there as well.
 :grouphug:

Yes, Basil runs a good show here. There are two other car forums that I hang out in that are civilized and helpful. One is the Miata Forum (Yes, I own one) and the other is Ferrari Chat. No, I don't own a Ferrari, but hang out in the Vintage section because I just like older Ferraris. They also have a British car section where I posted pics of my TR3, and it got great comments, and admiration for having done all the work myself. Very few of those guys do their own restoration work. However, I haven't found any noses stuck up in the air over there. :driving:

Same "contests", just really TINY amounts of the other thing! LOL

The BBS, (MG Enthusiasts)from the UK, is a no nonsense site also. PJ

I have read a lot of "nonsense" here...but civil nonsense.

The civil nonsense is what make this site seem like a group of friends. :grouphug:

OH NO...the group huggie smiley!!! I'm gonna get sick...

We need a Group Barf icon. :smirk:
