71MKIV, Thanks for the interesting information. It will be useful in the future as I have frame work to do on my AH 100. There are some other ideas that have been forwarded that will be very useful. I'm hoping that the welding is finished. But one never knows.

IanF, I have thought very briefly about the Ratco frame. My frame is rust free, and I'm not ready to give up on it just yet. If I do, I have a perfectly good frame sitting on saw horses in my garage.

TR3ATR250, There is a fellow 20 miles from me who put new trailing arm frame rails in for me years ago. He does fabulous work. I will be in his area next week and will stop to talk.
