From the first day I saw this style of Vantage I promised myself I would eventually own one . 3yr search to get the one I wanted . 2007 V8 Vantage in Toro Red with Sandstorm leather interior .less than 19000 miles on her . The only unfortunate thing is I wont get to drive her very much before she gets tucked away with the other toys for the long cold Ottawa winter .

Ok so I'm reading the posts about adding cruise controls and power windows etc etc . Whats next power trunk release, central locking ,power sunroof in a hard top, power folding soft top and if someone adds AC I'm gonna puke !!!! . C'mon people its a HEALEY quit trying to turn into a Mazda 3 . Part of the fun is how basic it is . How boring can it be to sit on the highway with the cruise on ? Go find some twisty roads and turn it loose , I cant even remember the last time I put the top up or the windows . I didn't buy a convertible to drive around with the top and windows up . And I certainly DO NOT want any modern accoutrements spoiling the perfection of owning a classic Austin Healey ..OK rant over :eagerness::encouragement:

Winter is a perfect time to sit in the garage and look at it
I love the colour, looks a tiny bit like the Jaguar carnival red

Your correct but NOT in a Healey and have you heard the exhaust note on a V8 Vantage ......it gives me goosebumps !!!!

Congrats! That's some beautiful automotive architecture there.

It reminds me of the 2008 BMW M3 that I owned for a few years. Very powerful, unbelievable sound (everyone who ever drove behind it in a tour told me that I must hear it from that perspective sometime) and very good-looking. However, as much as I liked it, I never fell in love. I finally concluded that it lacked soul, and my 30+ year owned BN2 now sits in its spot in the garage (it had been stored off-site.)

Enjoy your AM, but don't be surprised if it turns out not to be as deep of a relationship as you enjoy with your Healey. They fill different niches, for sure.

Looks like you're gonna puke! There was a optional AC for the series MKIII. I used to have one installed in my Healey. I sold the AC and installed a custom built AC. It's HOT in Texas!!
