Ya know, I had a car come in the shop with a set of those on the intake hose..( must be to magnitize the incoming air) we all had a good laugh... people will buy anything
I can't believe one of the testimonials is from an aircraft operator... Hope the FAA isn't checking out ebay as that guy may be in a bit of a pickle if they found a non-PMA part during a random ramp check.
Popular Science magazine did a test on a good number of these fuel saving devices. Some simple magnets like this but some required wiring into the electrical system. None of them helped (big suprise right /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif), some of them actually hurt mileage and one of them set their test vehicle on fire. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
