Hi Folks,

I just wanted to give you an up-date on a TR3 search.

I bought a `57TR3 Small Mouth from a gent in Alabama (Thanx Marv). VIN # is "TS21162". Who out there can confirm that this VIN is for my car?

I`ll post pics as soon as she arrives. Probably not for several wks.

I`m also selling my `59 Bugeye. Check out the "Spridget" Classifieds here and take a peek. If you know of someone who would have an interest; That person will be getting a heck of a nice ride!!

It does appear to be <span style="text-decoration: underline">a</span> correct commission number for that vintage of TR3. (Unless it's RH drive, I'll assume there is an "L" at the end.)

There is a "L" at the end of the commission, it had a Miss title that only had TS21162 listed. When I changed it over to AL registration they just copied the number from the Miss title. Probably need to bring that to their (AL) attention and have it changed before Russ picks it up.

Yes Sir; The TR2 was sold locally for $3500.00:

I was up north for a wk. & did`nt have Tommys Phone # on me. A local gent who inquired earlier came by & trailered her away. Oh Well; It would have made a great project but I`m happy as a lark with the TR3 purchase.

"No", No Jag. I did buy a really nice driver cond. `59 Bugeye that is currently listed in the "BCF" Classifieds. I`d pop in and say "Hi" to all the nice folks in the Triumph Section cause It was always interesting, educational & fun. "THEIR BACK"!!

That's odd because when I moved to Alabama back in 82 they screwed up the VIN on my TR3 title. They made the TS prefix T5.
