I KNOW THIS IS IN THE WRONG PLACE

I know this is in the wrong forum but I figure I will get more responses here. Will the PDWA from a gm care PV2 work to replace the one on the spitfire?

Thanks

Thanks Mickey. I want to keep the pdwa if at all possible as it helps with not having the rear come around during hard braking. Out here in MT you can come across some sharp bends unexpectedly when driving to fast as I often do. I would like to keep my rear end (and the cars) headed in the right direction and not off a cliff somewhere.

Darwin, I honestly don't know, but I am curious now that you ask. I agree with Mickey, if the fittings are the same size it will probably work, but if the orifices are different then who knows how well it will work.

Darwin, keep this in mind...from the internet..."PDWA (Pressure Differential Warning Actuator) in a Triumph Spitfire is not a proportioning valve. It's a device that senses pressure differential between the front and rear brake circuits and activates a warning light if a significant pressure difference is detected. A proportioning valve, on the other hand, regulates the amount of brake pressure sent to the rear brakes."
