I first ran "11" when I started racing wheel-to-wheel when I'd just gotten out of college ('72) at Bridghampton.
I chose 11 mainly 'cause it was easy to make with tape.
When I moved away (mostly) from club racing in '07, I decided to switch since there are a lot of "11s" in east coast vintage racing.
Since I'm a Beatles fan, "909" seemed perfect. I also had a 909 Escort for club racing but I sold it. You can see both 909s -Here-
I still race "64" in non-vintage events (in a rented SportsRacer Renault).
I put my Spridget in the NY Times a while back when I was listing our yearly VRG club calendar in their "Car Events" section.
Anyone can put a little bio of their car in the Times. It's free.
What I was really happy to see was -THIS- in last months Victory Lane magazine. My 15 minutes of fame!
