Here is the latest beater added to the fleet. Its a non backup light 67 that was originally green. I was hunting for a original green 67 a few months ago and here it is! Parked since 1990. Needs everything. Yesterday I thought I would see if it would run. The starter was dragging and the car just would not light up. I installed a slightly modified Isuzu gear reduction starter on it and it fired right up. Idle oil pressure is at 65 lbs. cold.(And I mean cold!) I have both working master cylinders out of the red project that will work on this car for testing the gearbox. I guess I will start wetsanding the red 67 since it will be warm enough to paint it by Thursday. Pics attached. Bob
Some structural glue, rivits, duct tape and a old stop sign and this one will be good as new! I might even replace the old air in the tires. I have a feeling its bad too. Gotta like these old MGBs. Bob
