Pick up is supposed to be this saturday. Pics will be posted if the deal goes down. Wish me luck...I'm going in. Bob

If it falls through, come get the one I have here.

One more gets saved, a good thing!

Good deal! Congrads!

Here is the latest beater added to the fleet. Its a non backup light 67 that was originally green. I was hunting for a original green 67 a few months ago and here it is! Parked since 1990. Needs everything. Yesterday I thought I would see if it would run. The starter was dragging and the car just would not light up. I installed a slightly modified Isuzu gear reduction starter on it and it fired right up. Idle oil pressure is at 65 lbs. cold.(And I mean cold!) I have both working master cylinders out of the red project that will work on this car for testing the gearbox. I guess I will start wetsanding the red 67 since it will be warm enough to paint it by Thursday. Pics attached. Bob

Better you than me - I'm through dragging 'em home!

Some structural glue, rivits, duct tape and a old stop sign and this one will be good as new! I might even replace the old air in the tires. I have a feeling its bad too. Gotta like these old MGBs. Bob

no your not............

Bob,

That one might take a whole month for you to restore!
I wish I had your energy/knowledge.

I'm with you, Doug. If I ever buy a MGB, I'm having it shipped directly to Bob's house first!

I've been saying that myself lately. So far no new MG's since October.
