yes i bought the quad set of keihin carbs and can't get the center two carbs to stop poping from what i understand it comes from a air leak but for the life of me i can't find one ;has anybody else gone through this and what was the cure; oh and don't say webber of s.u. carbs thanks rick.

Are you certain it is an air leak and that they aren't set very lean?
Are they popping through the carbs? A better discription would be helpful.

yea I got a triple set of mikunis I got from him 3 years ago, never could get them set up and still waiting on that FIX from Japan and the life time service he promises, yea right, the mikunis are now in my attic collecting dust, cant even give them away for scrap metal

hi doug the carbs are popping through the carbs small yellow flame comes with it and when i have checked the plugs they are fouled and wet with gas while plugs 1-4 are fine; thinking of changing dist. cap to make sure there isn't any arking in it.

Valves set correctly?

You guys might want to talk to Al, Trick6, who did a lot of work with these carbs and got them running great on his triple carb TR6.

Any chance you mixed up the spark plug wires? In order to get flames out of them, there has to be an open path from the ignition source(spark plugs) to the carbs. There must be a valve/valves open when firing.
