1500 engine, tranny, rearend and such.

A whole parts car. Not sure what year, etc. but is a parts car.

Will take pics this week and report. Plan to disasemble and go from there, body to the crusher.

Now, you are not going to beleive this but I swaped a good hub cap for picken rights and such. We will see how it works out. Understand parts car has insterments even.

Jack,

I might be interested in the hard top.

I could use a turn signal switch and steering column cowl for a '65 MKIII if thats available.

Strip it to the BARE BONES ... BEFORE it goes to the crusher!!!! :eeek:

I am going to make a list Branson and you are on it. Sometime this week I will get to see what I got and take pics for all.

Yes, Jack, please post the year and whatnot of the parts car! I may be interested in a few if the price is right.

If I find a free or almost free Bugeye tub it is mine, all mine. LOL

Branson, Here is the top. He will take $500. Actually it looks quite good.

You guys know better than I but is this not a MK IV Sprite?

Jack - what does the grille surround look like?

Aftermarket hardtop - not worth anywhere near $500! At least not around here.

Okies, what is aftermarket worth, I'll tell him.

Grill suround is needed, he is restoreing this one. Well his idea of a restore and ours are several worlds apart.

Aftermarket top lie that is $125-$150 tops.

Yup. Not factory, fer sure. Looks to be a "Snug" one.

What's that plate inside it, front center? That's weird.

No, body will not be crushed, he is going to have it derusted. Has a couple of others 1500s that are ready for the crusher but will steal a part or two if necessary.

No clue what the tag is on the top, did not see it till I looked at the pic. Will check it out when I see it again.

Jack,
Any chance of getting the diffs out of the 1500's? I would think they're 3.9s or maybe the elusive 3.7's?

Especially if they're headed for the crusher!

Jack, any idea how much shipping would be on the disc brake setup from Florida to Michigan? Also I could really use the right front frame section. Got a Sawzall?

That plate just looks to be the manufactures name plate to me (would be interesting to see what it says Jack!)!! I agree with Tony's estimate given the condition!!
(That missing hold-down latch is gonna be a hard one to match to the other side if it isn't factory!!)

I didn't think the body looked that bad either, certainly needs work, but have seen worse saved, maybe a 68 or 69, 68 was the first year with back up lights I think.
