:banana: The boys at White Post did me proud, sent out my MC on Thursday and received back today, nice job highly recommend. The downside of taking something apart over two years ago is remembering the sequence in putting it back together. After several attempts this is my recomdentation.

1st attach lines to MC, my clutch side leaked slightly so I used teflon tape to solve that problem.

2nd assemble MC in box remembering the bolt closest to the driver is shorter than the bolt on the top. You cannot insert bolt closest to the driver from underneath!!!

Slip it all into place and bolt it down. I took this in and out 3 times, once for the leak which is the only way to truly tighten the lines.

Used a speed bleeder on the clutch slave. piece of cake, it would be nice if the opening to the bleeder was just a little larger. Thoses Brits must be dainty small folk.

Now if I only had a steering wheel. My neighbor has a big Healey might have to sneak in for a removal and a joy ride.

its real easy to bleed the clutch before u
bolt the MC to the box....

Um..Mark. The threads are not what does the sealing. The flare should be seating and sealing. The fact that it is the clutch side makes it not so critical, but nonetheless you should really revisit the flare(s) and seat(s).

Agree, no teflon tape on brake or clutch fittings, ever.
