First off, I'm exhausted. Not going to catch up on postings tonight. Out of town this weekend for our club's Spring Fling. So yakking starts back up tomorrow.

Went out Friday night for Cinco de Mayo with some of the gang from the car club & sweet-talked John into stopping by the shop since we were so close so I could see the week's progress.

First I have to say this. Oh ye of little faith, for shame for shame doubting me (or Chuck's skills) Heater box (along with other bits) is in, without a fuss or muss, not a scratch.

Here's a few pics (radiator shroud isn't in, I just 'sat' it there for the pics) The tunnel only needed to be slightly modified for the OD, the lip around the opening had to go and they added 2 inches to the metal thingy that sits over it (I don't know what that's called)

You should be justifiably proud of your progress!

JB! I never figured you for that type of person! surely, lookin' a Bina in her current state would be akin to lookin' up someone skirt... would it not?

WOW!

Looks very nice, JB. Did we re-use the brake pipes, etc.?. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif
Cheers, David.

Some stuff is new, some is recycled. I can't really tell you what though, because I haven't been as involved in the rebuild as I wanted to be since Chuck is working on the car at John's shop (more room than our garage)

Klutz, your avatar is disturbing! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I guess I could go back through the family photo album and see if I can find something a little differant. I could go back to the Lumberjack Mounties I suppose. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Please take care when re-using brake pipes as the ends tend to crack near the flare. Once this happends, you will have trouble making a seal and will have lifted paint work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Cheers, David.

Are the black bits glossy painted or powder coated?

Lookin good!
