As I ran through the house with out making a noise, into garage, o I see a box waiting for me, o what a box. A brown long box, like the kinda remote control airplanes in, or a new BB gun or a 1920's Babe Ruth home running bats in. But its was better then that, it wad my LE air Dam from Jerry Rosa.
Thank you Jerry, I'm really great full, your a good guy.
Nice to talking to you on the phone.

Oh me Jerry, he took it to bed with him. Hmm, what does that tell ya.

...& that would've been a great story except that I got hung up trying to figure out how you "ran through the hose with out making a noise in the house"......now, you've gotta 'pay it forward' to someone else who needs help...ain't life great!

Where the heck did that come from? & what does it mean?

As a retired high school teacher, Keenan, turn the laptop off & pay attention to class! There was a time when, if I found you surfing the net in class instead of doing your classwork, I'd confiscate your computer & not give it back for a while...once took a cell phone a student was talking on during class & didn't give it back until the end of the school year...

I'm in American History, really dont need to listen, untill we get to the 70's.
I'm a Ace at history, I never study and always get A's. My favorite subject is history, and Lit. class's.

Everyones using a laptop right now too, I just need to look up info on WW2 like the rest of the class, thats my favorite war.

Sorry, but that made me spew coffee all over the desk. Most of us lived the '70's, you're reading about it in the books.

O i figured most of you were the 40's people.

That's right. The best years of my life were in the '70s...ages 0 through 9. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Odd, that was the best years of my son's life too.

I'm so glad I was only around for a bit of the 70's and don’t remember anything about it. Now what’s really disturbing is when you mention things like records, betamax, cassette tapes and the Soviet Union to today’s high school kids and they look at you like you just grew a third arm. Scarier still mentioning the same things to people in there early 20's and they give you the same look.

I was 0-8 in the seventies too. I bet that must be some boring reading.

I'd like to say "I don't remember the '70's - it was all a fog",but I do remember.
Seems weird to think of it as a history class.
How about 25.9cent gasoline,$1000 Healey 6's,Motel 6 meant $6.......
