When I took the shell up to North Alabama the other day I can only describe the trip as troling. Every one wanted to wave, blow there horn, etc. When I stoped for gas they wanted to talk.

Quite an experience, I had forgotten how enjoyable it was.

Lots of folks out there that have had Bugeyes or know folks that have em it seems. Gave em all one of Basils cards. Hehe.

Neat how that happens. When I picked up the B, it only took 20 miunutes to get her home but met 4 people that wanted to let me know it was "cool".

I had a similar experience when my wife and I picked up our 76 near LA. Five minutes after we drove off from the PO's house I stopped for gas and two guys came over and offered to buy it.

Yeah, it's fun .

When we came back from WV last week towing two Spridgets and ~The Mini!~ we got *lots* of reactions!
Kids laughed, dogs barked, women cried....Oh The Humanity! OK, I'm getting carried away....but it *is* fun.

At one point, a guy actually pulled up next to me and asked if #11 was a 1275 or a 1500.

First question on approach is usually: "What year is it?" ~Then~ they ask what kinda CAR it is... I usually give 'em the "country of origin" and wait. Gassin' up my friend's Seven was a real hoot. Crowd magnet. Durn-near need a cattle prod to keep the kids from puttin' paw-prints all over it. Elan is the same thing. T'is fun.

I always like to answer the question - "What year is is it?",with - "It 2006".
That usually stops them for a moment.
