Looks great! and flammable to boot - you know for the really really frustrating days!

Nice! I like it. I think I like it better than the engine mount setup. Something about wood and a vintage car.

Got bigger pix?

Yeah guys, more pics coming in the next couple of days.

Please, I'd love to see better pics for when I build one myself

Great. Looks better than most of the metal ones I have seen. Would love more photos and specs as I will be needing one in the near future (I hope).

That looks really great, I just finished welding mine today but I went a bit more oldschool with my set up just putting it on a pair of tyres doing one side then flipping it

are you having an Amish person help you restore it? just kidding, it looks great! It will be just as good as a metal one as you built it so well. I got lucky and my project came mounted on a rotisserie. If not i probably would have use the tire method as shown above.

That looks great!
If I had had to do more welding (well I had so much to do I bought a new body shell!) I would have made something like that, looks like in the end would make life so much easier.

But in the end..1 mattress, 2 bits of wood, 1 rope, sufficed

Being a carpenter (no welding skills) I went with the bolt together option. This is warehouse racking for hanging exhaust.

the drawback was changing from doing the underside first, making sure that was completely done.

the advantage was in the final painting. I was able to "Tip" the body to bring the rocker area up to a chest high level for better control of paint/clear.

More photos, as promised.
