We've had about a day of hard rain. It has washed most of the salt off the road. If the snowline stays north of me tonight, then I'll be driving the midget tomorrow. And... I need to drive it, because work on my project has stalled thanks to a bad head cold and subfreezing temperatures. A good drive with the midget would re-energize me.
 
I'm a very lucky guy as I've had three passions in life. My wife (still the prettiest girl in town), Hockey (played semi pro for years), and cars (been a mechanic for over thirty years). I love cars and what they can give each of us. Independance, confidence, and most of all, top down enjoyment. What I never liked was the people who don't understand the difficulties in repairing and maintaining cars. Here (THANKS BASIL) is a forum where people get together and help those they don't really know, through problems and tribulations without any question. This is what a hobby should be and this is the perfect venue for that. Thanks again to Basil and thanks to all you people out there who do this right Dave

I need to mention that my wife appreciates these boards as much as I do. (and has never been on)Boring you all with questions and comments means I'm not boring her - which makes her very happy to have someone else at the receiving end of car talk. I love these boards!
 
From one who has been at this for over forty years, I pretty much echo Docs' sentiments. I truly enjoy helping people out, as it's a small way for me to pay back for all the enjoyment I've had over the ages.
And once we get someone hooked, chances are they'll stay hooked for life.
LBC's...An addiction for which, thankfully, there is no known cure.
