I did not have the clutch plate in backwards. Repeat NOT.

No clue what the prob is or was yet but it is getting so hot I can not keep the sweat out of my eyes.

More to follow as we go along.
 
Did you use an alignment tool? If not, things might have binded when the trans was bolted to the engine.
 
Can not find my alignment tool but tranny went right in so I assumed it was good.

Something was bound up for sure.

Is it bound up because you pushed in the clutch and it did not roll or you put it into nuetral and the car did not roll? How do you know it is bound up?
 
Cause it is 1/4 inch shorter from front to rear than the orginial.

It also will not move much when the peddle is pushed when you look up inside, buddy pushed. It kind of bottems and refuses to go down past about a half.
