I did it.

Woops, did not work. Guy tried to jack the price 1K when it was on the trailer.

I said thanks but no thanks and took it off the trailer.

Like Tony I gave him a card with my price on the back and departed.

Oh well, was not ment to be I guess.

Wow! Bummer! :cryin: I wonder if you agreed to the extra $1000, if he would have charged you another $500 to pull out of the driveway?

Sellers remorse kicked in. Or greed.
Too bad.
Hopefully he will think again and give you that call.

Whatcha gonna do? Standing on principles
out-weighs the pain of the loss.
Good move. Ball in his court.

BUT on another note:
Iris and speedwell. In nature.
Really nice blues. IMHO

Only way to play it. Maybe he'll come around, but that's his deal to worry about.

Huh? What I flake! How did that happen, what was his excuse? I'da shamed him into selling it to me for less than the origianl price.

yep Kelly, should have done so.

But no big deal.

Well, at least you know you can buy his integrity for $1,000.

Spit guy touched base but haven't heard back again. :madder:

Trailer hooked up ready to go.

Doggone it. Also, good advice on trailer.

Yes, when stealing something it's customary to leave the scene WITH the goods as quickly as possible.

Another rule I like to live by is never give a buyer, seller or woman time to think.

Bummer, that thing was sweet, what a chump move.

Maybe the seller got on the google machine last night and found your BCF post about flipping it...
Anyway, who lets someone load a car before having all the paperwork signed and cash in hand?

I wondered about that too.

That's what I was thinking too. The owner probably stumbled onto this thread and figured out that Jack was getting a heck of a deal! But jacking up the price after it was on the trailer? HIghly unethical.

x2

Well, I guess you really did'nt need it but still not a bad deal. In my opinion. Course I'd have to see it up close and personal!

Kurt.

I would have walked away from it at that point, same as Jack did-a deal is a deal. I would have nothing more to do with that guy.

Next time do the paperwork Before, you load it.

You did the right thing.
