TR4/4A I did it again...

Perfect...thank you Rut! Now to try and find some good condition upper and lower valances. I'm guessing I'm going to have to buy new from one of the big 3.

Try eBay...I've seen new and used ones there.

I have a good fiberglass valance. Cheap

Yeah...I have one of those too, but I'm going back to original metal. Thanks for the offer tho.

Rut...been looking on ebay and here. Most are beat up pretty bad or rusted to ****. Need to find a side or rear impact car that has one. The one on ebay now is not that nice.

I just heard back from HMC Archives and they were unable to find the commission number of my TR4a based on the engine number. I've got it broken down pretty well and will store it until I decide what to do.

Marv,
Thanks! I really need to come up for a visit!

My car was registered as a 67 but in reality it was manufactures in June of 66 and its commission number is CTC70001 L. Yours is 3000 lower so I would guess manufacture is in early 66 or very late 65. Also you can get heritage certificate with that number - you can also check the body number plate on the opposite side of the engine compartment from the carbs.
