I'm kind of a neatness-freak. I like my stuff in it's place. I figure, the nicer I make my garage look the cleaner it will remain. The white paint just kept getting dirty, so I got on line and looked up some cool garages. I kept remembering Steve's garage paint scheme and liked it the best. So I thought I would start with one side first. Thanks for the inspiration Steve.

The dirty side is on the Sprite side for now.

Too clean. It's needs some grease stains or something:smile:
Awsome looking garage!

Are you sure thats a british car parked in there? I don't see any oil on the floor anywhere? Must have a drivetrain with a different country of origin.

Can you come and clean my garage up.
It looks nothing like that.
I'm in awe...

Wanna retire in Florida, Cliff?!!? I've ~just~ th' job for ya. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

You copy-cat! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif Nice job, it looks great! You made your gray section much higher than mine, or maybe your car is just smaller. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

I'm sure the kids wouldn't mind a car coming up through the floor into their room. As a kid, I would think that was the coolest thing in the world! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

So true Steve.

I went a bit higher on the gray because of the boys - they are white paint magnets - hoepfully, by the time they are tall enough they will have been endoctrinated into the orderly world of mom and dad.

Looks wonderful though Cliff, I an in awe. I was over Steve S's setup, too!

I'd love to get lifts but even with a 9'-4" ceiling in my garage I cannot do as Steve did with the garage door. My roof pitches the other way.

BTW. Steve, You a bicycle fan? You have 10 bike's in your original garage scheme.

Hello Sideache,

you have got my point, that is a rally car. Rally cars have square\rectangular backing while racing cars use a circular backing.

one sharp looking garage!

You could install carriage doors. They look nice, too. I wanted to do that but they won't work for my front yard layout.

I grew up racing bikes, from veledrome to road to time trial, cyclo-cross, tandem, etc. I still have 6 in there between my wife and I.

9'4" is high enough for a 4-post lift.
