From my folks to her - I can't believe it. They said they were saving up but this was totally unexpected.

How bad do you storage and service costs will be? Not sure I can afford the insurance.

What's the scale on that, 1/24?

Nicely detailed!

Not sure I would let my daughter near it.

Wow, What a nice gift,

What is it? Healey or Austin Martin? What about a pic of the Interior.

Thanx, Russ

She is a DB4GT Zagato.

I was going to try and find a better location and blur the photo a bit to see how far I could extend the joke, but in any case here is what a real one looks like;

Too few spokes in the wheels and door/bonnett give it away first.

Soooo....
Is the real one what your daughter has?
If so, lock her away so you can play with that awesome car!!!

She has the 1/24 scale one. My folks actually sent it along for our 2 year old boy as part of a care package for my 6 year old's birthday. As pointed out some of the details aren't right but man is it handsome.

I wish my folks (or me!) had the sort of idle money to send a real one along, but they would more likely help out with her college fund or something boring like that - LOL.
