Where did they come from?

The ones in the box and the blue BE are from ebay, The Airfix kit was a gift and the little red one was a white-metal kit I got in England many years ago (it actually has side curtains with it-behind the seats and under the removable tonneau!) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif . Jack, if you do a search on ebay for "Johhny Lightning 1959 Austin Healey Sprite" you should come up with the blue one (and it IS a nice model, if not 100% accurate) the others are rarer!

I just did a search Jack, and found one! It was WHITE too...2+ days to go and high bid is $.01 ($5.99 S&H)!!
PS: make your search for "all ebay catagories" /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
I will post the link for you!

Cool Mike! I also have the Johnny Lightning "British Invasion" MGB and Airfix B. Now time to find more bugeyes! I think that JL did a Bugeye in their American Graffiti Series, in Pale Primrose. I remember seeig that one and almost buying it a few years ago.

I love to collect Matchbook and Hotwheel miniatures of cars I've owned. I have Land Rovers, Beetles, MG's all in miniature. I also like to pick up other classics like old Jags and stuff. Right now Matchbox has a Jag E type Coup you can buy at Walmart for $1! What a bargain!

Heh, bid on it. Its hood fits about as good as mine, awful.

I picked up a blue and a yellow version of the Johnny lightning cars. I still think the Revell cars are the best looking for about $40. 1/18th scale. I also picked up a plastic 1/28 kit from Gunze Sangyo. It is a very easy build with a lot of detail.

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/iagree.gif I love to do the same (built up a pretty good collection over the years! Check out yard/garage sales! You can sometimes find odd stuff there. I always have to cruise the toy cars section at Walmart(much to the wife's amusement re my perpetual childhood! :G) Have you noticed the "Malibu International" brand models (1/87 scale - HO) at Walmart? They are very nice and only for $.99 - 1.29!!(see pix below - Jags and AC Cobra) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif
