I have liked Allards ever since I saw them in car magazines in the early Seventies. Then around 1977-78 I would drive my Triumph Spitfire out to a local track, Shannonville Motorsport Park, and there would be some Allards vintage racing with Bugatti T35's and even a Jag XKSS. Pretty fancy stuff for a small town in Canada. Stirling Moss even talked to me, a sixteen year old kid, for 15 or 20 minutes.Congrats on the new member of the family!
How'd you get interested in Allard? What's the history of your car?

JP,
David, this one has Offenhauser heads, Offenhauser oil cooler/filter, Edmunds intake and dual Strombergs. It's amazing how quick it is and puts a huge grin on your face driving it.Congrats. They are special cars. We sold a few back in the day and the last one had all of the hard to get speed bits added to the flatty.
They do. Hoping to get there this summer. They also seem to have vontage motorcycle racesJP,
Do they still have any vintage races there?

In other news, these showed up once again to taunt me. They are brand new but IIRC can legitimately be called Allards and can be a part of the clubs. They are (again IIRC) in the 65k Canadian range - which to my mind is a smoking bargain while simultaneously too rich for my blood.
