I better find an MG dealer quick!

When my Triumph's fuel pump died about 8 years ago I called AAA. When I explained that I wanted the car towed to my house the AAA dispatcher asked if I didn't want the car towed to the nearest dealer instead since they would only cover one tow per incident. She was not happy with me when I started laughing.

Oh how I love drone sites. Chose the option to find an MG dealership and you come to this:

Automotive.com has the largest database of certified Atlanta MG dealers across the United States and Canada. No one makes it easier to find a trusted MG dealer online in Atlanta and the vehicle you’re looking for. Because of the way MG dealers are set up, they have a vested interest in getting you to pick a car from their lot...

Now that's funny. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

Wow, I'd better get there quick too. Mine is being recalled for body structure problems. 1972 MGB LOL

I must have lucked out!

1971 MG MGB Recalls
There are no recalls for this vehicle.

Woohoo. I can now absolve Abingdon 100% for the condition my car is currently in. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif LOL

I have a complete set of all the British Leyland recalls - MG, Jag, Triumph, etc....fills about 4 big ring binders (from factory!)

We are just joking around being sarcastic. We can't really get our cars fixed free. There are no dealers anymore.

Sorry about that. Like everyone says, it is a joke. In the US (Don't know about elsewhere) when a car is recalled, the dealer will fix it for free. Since there haven't been any MG dealers in the US for 25 years, it would be kind of hard to find one. Plus, about any recall as old as one of our cars would surely be out of date and no longer offered.
