I been tipped into a time skip...

We were invited to a "Come as you were (dressed) in the '70's" party a year or two ago. All the rest were leisure suited, I show'd up in Nomex, combat boots 'n dogtags... Got a shock at one of the female's comment: "Well, *I'm* impressed!"

Flattery of a high order in my book.

...'course she may have meant something COMPLETELY different than the way I chose to take it. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Yeah, we get quite a bit of that up in the north-county area with Pratt Whitney and Grumman being so close by. Before they "closed" Pratt I went to their open house where we got to clamber through a bunch of neat stuff (incl. a B17!!) every so often we are treated to and aerial dogfight over the 'hood between a couple of biplanes. That's always fun to stop what's going on and go out and watch!!
