I ate a can of Alpo once.....

mmmmm. Monty Cristo...... I love those....
I guess if ya made it with Spam it'd be a "Monty Python Cristo" or just a "Monty Python". I like that. I think I'll use it..

Fried Spam and Egg or Fried Spam Bean and Egg Taquitos are popular in So Texas, Ala Mexicana {with fried tomatoes and onions} or just plain . Crawdads are just a bit too fishy tastin` for my likin` but I love a good Maine Lobster. Menudo and Tripas get my stomache rollin` and gag reflex goin`. Nopalitos don`t taste too good either {Kinda slimy}.
I`m pretty picky `bout what I eat, I won`t eat most fish. If it tastes or smells like fish i`m not interested!
Dog or cat food, just the looks let alone the smell of it is enough to keep me from endulging.
If you are wondering what Nopalitos are have a look here.

was a while ago, but from memory USDA made pet food companies list all the ingredients in the tinned dog, same requirement wasnt required for fit for human consumption tinned food, has anything changed?, might be better off with the tinned dog in some circumstances, (better balanced diet with all the necessary vitamins included!) tongue in cheek

Aweman-

When we were down in Aruba, W.I. two weeks ago,
our local guide was explaining the joys of eating
Nopalito soup. She said it was a very flavorful, pale
green slime with a nice cilantro taste.

I'll stick to my black bean soup, thank you very much.

See, my Dad makes that (etouffe)-we had it a week or two ago.

The cactus soup doesn't sound too bad-I've always wanted to try it. I forget, to they eat agave?

Recently had a sandwich with fried plantains on it-I didn't think I'd like it, but it was pretty good!
