...and I gradieated from cypherin' skool!

It's weird. You move to Iowa and a year and a half later you wake up one day to find that you've earned an AA from a local college.
I never knew that reaching the age of 52 could be so much fun.

To put the icing on the cake, I'm going to attempt to get the GT back on the road.

This may seem like an odd question, but since my gas tank is in need of replacement and since it's about half full of gasoline ( and gunk), what am I supposed to do with the used gas?

Is there a recommended method of disposal?

I've never had to deal with this situation before.

Others may have a better answer but it seems to me you should be able to go to your local service station or repair shop - if they still exist! LoL - and have them dump the old "gunk". I imagine it will get recycled along with the old oil, etc.

I put it in a container & add a little to each tank of lawn mower gasoline if its not turned to varnish.

If it has turned, I take it to my local oil recycler place & just pour it in the barrel.

Welcome back!

Mebbe one of the local fellas would take it and use it to diffuse the $4+ per gallon cost for fueling his tractor?

...just a thought.

Ummm. I think they use diesel fuel, doc. OTOH, maybe I could give them that bottle of rancid sesame oil that somehow made the move from Florida.

I do the same as Tony, put a little in the lawnmower with some good gas.

Gee. Up here I've got two lawnmowers, a weed eater, a tiller, and a blower. 6 Gallons of gas should be gone in about 2 weeks

Too bad it's not winter. I'd probably be able to get rid of it in a week using the snow blower.

Send it to Dale for storage....
